Business Cards
Business card is integral part of business, representing you or your company. It is no secret that the rule “don’t judge a book by its cover” does not apply in business – even a minor matter can change people’s opinion of you – outfit, gesture, hobby… Both your behaviour and business card reflects your personality, style and values.
Informative and memorable business card is a great marketing tool to raise awareness of a person, company or brand and facilitate the exchange of information.
WHICH BUSINESS CARDS ARE EFFECTIVE?
1. Informative:
- Provide all current contact information telephone, e-mail, fax, voice mail, address, website, social network accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Describe briefly and specifically your field of activity
- Use your company logo – that is, awareness rising time free of charge that you spent with your company symbols.
2. Handy:
- The standard business card size is 50×90 mm – different size and form cards can be produced; however, it is not recommended to vary from the standard – this type of card is uncomfortable to carry and therefore may be thrown away.
3. Visually attractive:
- Follow the brand – use typical brand colours, fonts – in this way you will develop a body of your brand and become more memorable to your client.
- Pay attention to the font – it should be legible and clear at arm’s length, i. e. not too small in size, unsophisticated, and its colour should contrast with the background.
- Be creative – black font on white paper business cards get lost in a stack – use special finishing tools: UV varnishing, foiling, embossing, die-cutting, etc.
4. Qualitatively imprinted:
- It is highly important to select an appropriate paper – half cardboard or thicker coated paper (250-300 g/m2) is the best solution, because the card will be often touched therefore shall be stiff
